Paris Court Finds 10 Individuals Guilty in Brigitte Macron Case: Details
A Paris court has found 10 individuals guilty in a case involving false information about Brigitte Macron. According to France Info, they disseminated false news online claiming that the wife of the French president was a man.
The convicted individuals include IT specialists, a real estate agent, a teacher, and a social worker. The maximum sentence imposed by the court was eight months of suspended imprisonment. The prosecution had previously recommended sentences ranging from six months to one year of suspended imprisonment for the defendants.
