Damage to Deer Entails Legal Responsibility
The Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia informs that a video has surfaced online today showing Caucasian noble deer roaming in one of the settlements of Lori Province.
"We kindly ask you not to approach, feed, or harm the animals, as well as not to obstruct their natural movements. The movement of the deer is monitored by radio communication. The animals are under state protection, and any damage inflicted upon them entails legal liability. In the case of harming a noble deer, the damage to the state will be calculated at 15 million drams, and liability measures are stipulated under Article 386 of the Criminal Code of Armenia.
Your responsible behavior contributes to the preservation of nature."
Earlier, we reported that a criminal case has been initiated regarding the disappearance of a noble deer.
