Passengers Refuse Flight in Astana Due to Engine Malfunction

An emergency situation arose during a flight operated by FlyArystan departing from Astana, as the aircraft's engine failed to start, causing serious concern among passengers. The incident occurred during the preparation phase of the aircraft.

The flight crew characterized the engine failure as a "minor technical issue." However, upon learning of the malfunction, passengers began demanding a replacement aircraft for safety reasons.

In response to the passengers' dissatisfaction, the aircraft commander stated that he had executed flights under similar circumstances multiple times before, referring to it as "common practice." This explanation, however, did not reassure the passengers.

As a result, the passengers decided to leave the aircraft. It was later confirmed that the engine could not be started, and the flight was ultimately canceled. FlyArystan has not yet provided an official comment regarding the incident.
