I Don’t See Any Danger: Samvel Shahramanyan on Possible Charges Against Him

Samvel Shahramanyan does not see any danger regarding potential charges or possible detention against him. He stated this during a conversation with reporters.

It should be noted that Shahramanyan was interrogated for about an hour at the main military investigation department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia. The interrogation is based on statements related to the criminal proceedings of the 44-day Artsakh war, the fall of Artsakh, and alleged incidents causing damage to the Republic of Armenia’s informational headquarters.

"The interrogation was mainly connected to the events that occurred in 2023, military operations, and their consequences. What questions were raised is a matter of pre-investigation secrecy. We have never avoided appearing before the investigating body and answering questions. Today, we provided clarifications on the questions raised. I was questioned today in the capacity of a witness. At this moment, I do not see any danger (referring to the potential of being charged and a request for detention)," Shahramanyan noted.

It is worth recalling that earlier, the newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reported that it is possible that charges may be brought against Shahramanyan and a request for his detention may be submitted to the court.

In the months of June-July 2025, within the framework of this case, Samvel Shahramanyan has been intensively interrogated 12 times and has provided all the information known to him.
