There is a serious opportunity to pause the war: Zelensky

Ukraine currently has a "significant opportunity" to reach a political agreement to pause the war with its Western partners, stated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on his Telegram channel.

"Most importantly, I will have meetings with representatives of U.S. President Trump, as well as our European partners and many leaders, regarding the foundations of peace and a political agreement to stop the war. The possibility is now significant," wrote the politician in his post.

Earlier, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced that if the Americans abandon their efforts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, escalation will be unavoidable.
