I Received a Message from Moscow: Vucic Incidentally Spoke Out Loudly During Meeting with Von der Leyen and Costea
I received a message from Moscow, Serbia's President Aleksandar Vucic inadvertently said during a meeting in Brussels with Ursula von der Leyen and Antonio Costea, forgetting that the microphone was on. This was reported by Euronews.
Vucic was in Brussels on Wednesday to participate in the Serbia-EU bilateral meeting, during which, among other issues, the country's EU membership application was discussed.
“Let’s wait,” von der Leyen abruptly interrupted the conversation.
Serbia's president is one of the few European leaders who maintains contact with the Kremlin after the EU severed diplomatic ties with Moscow following the outbreak of the war in Ukraine in 2022.
