Putin Again States Russia's Position on Donbas and Novorossiya
In an interview with India Today, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia would liberate Donbas and Novorossiya through military means or other methods. He noted that Russia had proposed to Ukraine to withdraw its troops from Donbas and refrain from military operations; however, according to Putin, Kyiv opted for war.
Putin declared that Russia does not plan to return to the G8, emphasizing that the share of the “Big Seven” in the global economy is diminishing year by year, “like chamois leather.”
The Russian president stressed that European countries should engage in the resolution process of the Ukrainian conflict rather than interfere with it.
