New Charges Filed Against Grigori Khachaturyan; International Wanted Notice Issued
New charges have been filed against Major General Grigori Khachaturyan, and an international wanted notice has been issued.
Auroranews.am was informed by the Office of the Prosecutor General that public prosecution against Khachaturyan was initiated recently on two counts. "On November 25, 2025, public criminal prosecution was initiated against Grigori Khachaturyan under Part 1 of Article 436 and Part 3 of Article 549 of the Criminal Code. An international wanted notice has been issued for G. Khachaturyan. The court rejected the investigator's motion to choose detention as a measure of restraint, against which the Prosecutor's Office will file an appeal," the agency stated.
It should be noted that earlier it was reported that the court had rejected the motion to detain Grigori Khachaturyan.
