Lydia Mantashyan's Detention Lifted
The court has lifted the detention of Lydia Mantashyan, the only female defendant in the case of Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan and others, applying administrative supervision and bail.
Prosecutors, who opposed Mantashyan's release last week, accepted the lawyers' arguments and concerns today, proposing a ban on her absence with bail.
The court decided to lift Lydia Mantashyan's detention and apply a new preventive measure of administrative supervision. As an additional condition, a bail of 2.5 million drams has been set.
