Fake News About Khachatur Sukiasyan Spread by Azerbaijani and Turkish Media: Anna Mkrtchyan
Anna Mkrtchyan, spokesperson for Armenian MP Khachatur Sukiasyan, writes:
“Just recently, the Azerbaijani news outlet haqqin az, referencing the Turkish site haber sol org tr, reported that Armenian MP Khachatur Sukiasyan is involved in negotiations to sell the HEC to a Turkish company. This news is false. Khachatur Sukiasyan has never negotiated with any company regarding the sale of HEC or any other companies, nor will he do so in the future.
It is noteworthy that the same news was previously disseminated by Armenian media outlets known for regularly spreading fake news about Sukiasyan and for being associated with the former regime. Let us also remind that for many years, the same media outlets have spread similar fake news; back then, they were also claiming that Sukiasyan would buy the universities of Yerevan, which were supposedly to become Turkish hotels.”
