Armen Charc'hyan's Health Condition is Very Serious, Vardevanyan

Armen Charc'hyan's health condition, as before, is very serious. If you ask any doctor about the dose of "Insulin" he receives, which is alarmingly high, they would genuinely question what is happening in the Republic of Armenia, said Aram Vardevanyan, a member of the National Assembly from the "Armenia" faction, during a conversation with journalists.

He regarded the fetishization of incarceration by the current authorities as a dangerous phenomenon and emphasized that the government absolutely disregards the contribution and achievements of Professor Charc'hyan in the life of the country. According to the lawmaker, hope lies in the judicial system's objective approach under such conditions of governmental attitude.

"I hope that the court will rise to the occasion because there is simply no alternative to eliminating this disgraceful measure of detention," he stated.

Vardevanyan considered the emergency session appointed in the case of Professor Armen Charc'hyan as the result of the efforts of his legal team and the vocalizations of journalists.
