Major Fire in Tavush Province
On November 22 and 23, the Tavush provincial rescue service's crisis management center received reports regarding fires in the vicinity of the "Galavino" neighborhood and in the "Srtni" area of the village of Navur. Responding swiftly to the alerts were eight operational teams and two fire-fighting units from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' provincial rescue administrations.
It was determined that the fire broke out in the "Kazachi" area of the Dilijan community, where 234 rescue service workers are engaged in firefighting operations. Additionally, 28 employees from the Eco-Rescue Service were also involved in the efforts.
In the "Srtni" area of the village of Navur, firefighting operations are being conducted by 62 rescue service personnel, with support from 40 employees of the Eco-Rescue Service and 53 village residents.
