Precious Metal Prices Increase
The prices of precious metals have changed following the trading session on the NYMEX exchange. The price of gold rose by 0.40 percent, reaching $4,077.70. Silver increased by 0.67 percent, amounting to $50.79, while platinum gained 1.14 percent, reaching $1,560.70. The measurement unit is one troy ounce, equivalent to 31.1 grams.
New York's NYMEX is an American futures exchange that operates on two platforms: NYMEX, where oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions are traded, and COMEX, which specializes in gold, silver, copper, and aluminum.
