Selection Issues for Supreme Court President and Judge Candidates Removed from National Assembly Agenda
The issues concerning the election of the President of the Supreme Court and the candidates for Supreme Court judges have been removed from the agenda of the National Assembly's plenary session. This information was reported by the official website of the parliament.
The removal of these issues was based on a letter from the Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council, Ruben Vardazaryan. Vardazaryan noted that not electing a President for the Supreme Court at this time and not filling the vacant position of a judge in the civil and administrative chamber of the court will not disrupt the organization of the works of the Supreme Court and the aforementioned chamber.
