Russia's Statements are Ridiculous: Orban

Statements about Russia attacking Europe are ridiculous, said Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

“With all due respect, I find it ridiculous to say that Russia will attack the EU or NATO simply because it is not strong enough. We are much stronger than they are. The European Union has over 400 million inhabitants, while Russia has about 140 million,” Orban stated.

He pointed out that the military capacity of the 27 EU countries significantly exceeds that of Russia. “The Russians have been unable to finish the war in Ukraine for more than three years. How can Europe claim to be weaker than Russia?” added Hungary's Prime Minister.
