Attempt to Violate Observer Limits by 'Hayakve' at Polling Station
Infocom reports that the 'Hayakve' observer mission attempted to breach the electoral code's requirement by exceeding the number of allowed observers in the voting room. According to the electoral code, each observer mission is entitled to have up to two observers.
According to the mentioned source, at polling station 14/8, where two observers from 'Hayakve' were already registered, a third member of the organization approached the commission's secretary. When the commission reminded that only two observers are allowed, the third one claimed to be 'temporary' and left after a few minutes.
Prior to this incident, another observer from the same organization had also arrived at the polling station where two observers were already present. He spoke with their representatives, stayed for a few minutes, and left without registering.
