Vahan Bichakhchyan Will Miss Upcoming Matches Against Hungary and Portugal
The midfielder of the Armenian national team and Warsaw's Legia, Vahan Bichakhchyan, will miss the upcoming matches against Hungary and Portugal in the European qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
Despite his injury, Bichakhchyan has joined the national team and continues his recovery process with the squad.
To fill Bichakhchyan's absence, coach Yeghishe Melikyan has previously called up Gevorg Tarakhchyan, a midfielder from Pyunik.
It was also reported earlier that midfielder Ugochukwu Iwu from Kazan's Rubin did not join the national team due to a muscle injury.
