Temporary Suspension of the Air Operator Certificate for Yerevan-Kapan-Yerevan Flights
The air operator certificate of NovAir, which operates the Yerevan-Kapan-Yerevan flights, has been temporarily suspended, the Civil Aviation Committee informed Sputnik Armenia.
This is a legal requirement, according to which the carrier must have a rental agreement or acquire at least one aircraft suitable for flight operation to obtain or retain a certificate.
The decision to suspend the license was made on October 27 for a six-month period, until April 27, 2026, and is not related to the airline's operational activities.
