COVID-19 Situation Update

As of September 2 at 11:00 AM, a total of 243,386 cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Armenia, of which 227,726 have recovered and 4,876 have resulted in death. Currently, there are 9,625 patients receiving treatment for the virus. This information has been provided by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.

In total, 1,554,292 tests have been conducted. Yesterday, 6,394 tests were performed, resulting in 636 new confirmed cases of COVID-19. There have been 433 recoveries and 19 deaths reported. The previous day recorded 2 deaths where the patient had contracted the coronavirus; however, the cause of death was due to other health conditions. The total number of such cases is 1,159.
