Iran Planned Assassination Attempt Against Israeli Ambassador: Axios
According to Axios, Iran attempted to orchestrate an assassination attempt against the Israeli ambassador in Mexico. The American publication, citing anonymous officials from the U.S. and Israel, reports that the conspiracy was prepared by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' Quds Force.
According to the source, the planning for the operation began in late 2024 and continued into the first half of 2025. The target of the plot was identified as Israeli Ambassador Einat Kranz-Nayger. Mexican intelligence agencies thwarted the conspiracy during the summer.
