Construction of the ‘Zangezur Corridor’ is Nearing Completion: Hajiyev

The construction of the ‘Zangezur Corridor’ near the border with Armenia is nearing completion, as reported by Hikmet Hajiyev, assistant to the President of Azerbaijan.

“Azerbaijan is working diligently towards establishing regional transport and logistics connections,” he noted.

According to Azerbaijani media, Hajiyev added that railway and road infrastructure, including tunnels, are being constructed at a rapid pace. He announced that the involvement of international partners is being discussed for the construction of railway infrastructure along a section of the road over 188 kilometers long in Nakhchivan.
