Armenia–Turkey Negotiations Approach Decisive Phase: Mirzoyan Evaluates New Developments
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ararat Mirzoyan, has announced that Yerevan and Ankara are engaged in active and intensive dialogue, which he believes will yield 'very tangible results' soon.
'We have a very intensive dialogue with Turkey. I am personally optimistic in this regard and believe that the Armenia-Turkey dialogue should produce tangible results in the near future,' Mirzoyan stated during a press briefing with reporters.
When asked what he meant by 'tangible results,' the minister did not reveal any details, only noting: 'Tangible enough that there will be no doubt among those present that they are referring to this tangible aspect.'
Mirzoyan's statement could indicate the entering of a new positive phase in the process of normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations.
