No Kings: Large-Scale Protests Against Trump's Policies
Large-scale protests have erupted against the policies of President Donald Trump under the slogan "No Kings." Rallies took place across all 50 states in the U.S., as well as in Canada, Mexico, and several European countries. According to organizers, nearly 7 million people participated in protests in the United States alone.
Demonstrators are voicing their discontent over the president's "power grab" and immigration policies, which have led to the deployment of the National Guard in major U.S. cities, among other issues. "Trump may want to wear a crown, but there are no kings in this country," stated the movement's leadership.
As for Trump's response, on the day of the protests, he was in Florida playing golf and remarked to reporters that he is not a king.
