Prime Minister's Spokesperson on Reports of Transferring Part of Syunik Province to Azerbaijan
The spokesperson for the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, has stated on Facebook: “Recently, a number of international and local media outlets, as well as social networks, have circulated false information alleging that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced the transfer of part of Syunik province to Azerbaijan and the establishment of a special border zone for Turkey.
I officially declare that this publication is disinformation, lacks any factual or legal basis, and is part of a hybrid war against the Republic of Armenia. I urge citizens, media outlets, and analytical platforms to refrain from spreading such disinformation, to verify the accuracy of the information, and to rely solely on official statements.”
