VIDEO: The Salary of the Head of the State Revenue Committee Has Decreased
The Head of the State Revenue Committee, David Ananyan, addressed the recent uproar regarding ministerial salaries during a press briefing today, stating that the Prime Minister has already provided a comprehensive response to the issue. He also mentioned that his salary has decreased, for instance, from 2 million to 1.5 million drams.
“There is still no system in place for decent incomes throughout the government. Salaries in the system are low; for example, a supervisor earns about 130,000 drams. That’s why we are trying to give bonuses amounting to 50-70% of the salary every month,” he added.
