Changes to the Declaration System
The parliamentary faction of the Civil Contract party has submitted a bill proposing changes to the universal declaration system to simplify it. During a government meeting, Deputy Minister of Finance Arman Poghosyan presented the proposal, suggesting that it should be approved.
"The main change is that it is planned to pre-fill the declarations by the State Revenue Committee (SRC) and provide the declarants with ample time to access the SRC website," said Arman Poghosyan, adding that there they can verify the accuracy of the declaration and make adjustments. According to the deputy minister, if there are no changes to the declaration, it will be considered submitted by the deadline, which, according to the usual rule, is July 1 of the year following the reporting year. "Of course, for this year, there is a longer deadline, which is November 1," he noted.
He also informed that the bill will remove the fine for not submitting the declaration within the prescribed timeframe.
