Papoyan on Turkish Investments in Armenia
The Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, has welcomed Turkish investments in Armenia. In a press briefing with reporters at the National Assembly, he reminded that Turkish companies have been engaged in Armenia since 2012-2013.
“In the case of one brand, it is very straightforward, and I welcome these investments because any peace between neighbors should be reinforced by financial investments if we want stable peace in the region. I consider it normal that, in the case of establishing peace in Armenia, investments will come after the borders are opened, including Turkish investments, and we will also invest there. If it seems that we can be a viable state in the opposite scenario, then look at the history of the state over the past three decades,” said Papoyan. More details are available in the video.
