Netanyahu Reaches Out to Trump with Proposal
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has spoken with U.S. President Donald Trump after reaching an agreement with the Palestinian Hamas movement regarding the release of hostages. According to Reuters, citing Netanyahu's office, Netanyahu invited Trump to address the Knesset (Israeli parliament).
Earlier, Trump announced that an agreement had been reached between Israel and Hamas regarding the initial phase of a plan to resolve the situation. The Palestinian movement would release hostages, while Israel would withdraw its troops.
Netanyahu just spoke with Trump. The two congratulated each other on reaching an agreement to release all hostages. Netanyahu extended an invitation for Trump to speak at the Israeli Knesset, the publication reports.
