Greta Thunberg and ‘Sumud’ Fleet Activists Subjected to Brutal Torture in Israeli Prison: Reuters
The Swedish environmentalist and eco-activist Greta Thunberg, along with other activists from the ‘Sumud’ fleet, have reportedly been subjected to torture in an Israeli prison. According to Reuters, a human rights advocate made this announcement during a press conference held in Stockholm.
The activist stated that during their time in prison, they were deprived of clean water, while other detainees were denied vital medication for their survival.
As a reminder, on October 3, Israel arrested several ships from the ‘Sumud’ fleet that were sailing on a humanitarian mission to the Gaza Strip. Additionally, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced deportation plans.
