Georgia Announces Attempt of Armed Diversion
In Tbilisi, a large quantity of weapons and explosives has been seized. These materials were intended for a significant diversion, planned to coincide with an attempt to seize the presidential residence. This was reported by the State Security Service of Georgia.
The country’s state security agency stated that the weapons were purchased under the direction of a representative of one of the groups operating in Ukraine. Individuals who were supposed to deliver the explosives have been neutralized.
Earlier, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze labeled the rally that took place in Tbilisi as a criminal offense.
