Stalls at Gnuni Market Being Dismantled: Business Owners Have Fully Relocated Their Goods
Stalls at the Gnuni Market are being dismantled. According to Ruben Khojayan, head of the urban development and land control department of the Yerevan municipality, negotiations with business owners have been ongoing for about 3-4 months, and they have been informed about the upcoming works.
“The request of the business owners was accommodated, allowing them time until September 30 to relocate their goods and free up the shops and stalls. At this moment, there is no stall being dismantled with goods still inside; the business owners have fully relocated their property,” Ruben Khojayan stated. He noted that the stalls were interfering with both the urban environment and pedestrians.
