Teenagers Steal 70,000 Dram from Man

On March 27, at 11:35 PM, the police department of the Central district received a report from a hospital that a 46-year-old man had sought medical assistance due to injuries sustained from falling on the street. The operational group that arrived at the hospital was informed by the man that he was attacked in a nearby park on Khorenatsi Street by unknown individuals, who struck him on the head and subsequently stole 70,000 dram from him.

Thanks to the operational and investigative measures taken by the criminal investigators of the Central police department, it was determined that the crime had been committed by two 17-year-old teenagers, one of whom is a resident of Yerevan, while the other hails from the village of Arbat in the Ararat region.

A criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of robbery. As a result of actions taken by the staff of the Central police department, the teenagers were taken to the police station on suspicion of robbery. The teenager from Yerevan has been arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
