Vendetta Theory Disproven: The Murdered Man's Brother Provides Testimony, Lawyer Says
Due to heavy workload, I have only just now watched the interview of the Head of the Investigative Committee with Petros. This was stated by lawyer Vahe Hovhannisyan.
“Either the Head of the Investigative Committee was misinformed about the case, or he intentionally distorted the reality. At this moment, I will not address many circumstances, but I will mention only the following: Narek Ohanyan did not refuse to provide testimonies, but rather confirmed his absence from the incident while giving detailed testimonies.
“Narek Ohanyan’s movement has been recorded by the cameras at their house, which have not yet been confiscated. Why? Because that would immediately disprove the theory that he has any connection to the case.
I pose a rhetorical question: Have there been many cases where a suspect in a murder case detail their entire actions at the time of the incident, just before, and after the incident, while the prosecuting entity did not verify the authenticity of the testimonies in any way, particularly by not seizing the footage from the cameras in their house?”
I regret to note that the Investigative Committee has adopted an unacceptable behavior by concluding a person's guilt based on the combination of evidence, instead of initially designating someone as guilty and attempting to fit the evidence to the charges,” he wrote.
