Moldy Cake at Yerevan City Branch: A Response from the Food Safety Agency
A Facebook user reported: "We bought this cake from the Shengavit branch of Yerevan City; the brand was unknown, and we simply picked the freshest cake available, dated the 26th. It looked fine from the outside, but once we got home, we discovered it was moldy and had a strange taste. In fact, it is still within the expiration date until October 6. The date seems to have been printed twice; perhaps there was an issue with the printer, or the date was erased and rewritten. I didn’t keep the receipt, but I made the purchase around 4:30 PM."
On the same day, the matter was addressed, and the citizen will be informed about the results," stated the Food Safety Agency.
