Garnik Danielyan on the Closure of the Nubarashen Landfill
At the National Assembly, member of the "Armenia" Faction Garnik Danielyan raised the issue of the Nubarashen landfill. He noted that residents from Yerevan and various regions have been continuously complaining about the toxic smoke and stench resulting from the landfill's burning.
"This landfill should have been closed yesterday. The conditions our citizens are forced to live in are unbearable. They breathe in that toxic smoke every day, which harms people's health. We have been talking about this for years, but no changes are being made," said the deputy.
Danielyan also added that there are problems not only with the landfill but also related to the closed circulation system. According to him, legislative changes will deal a serious blow to fish farming and entrepreneurs. "This decision will directly affect the development of the sector. It would be more appropriate to deal with the issue of illegal wells, from which water is flowing in various directions without control," stated Garnik Danielyan, a member of the “Armenia” faction.
