Ukraine on the Agenda of Erdogan-Trump Meeting
No specific information has yet emerged regarding planned initiatives directed at resolving the Ukrainian conflict during the upcoming meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and U.S. President Donald Trump; however, the topic will be discussed. This was reported by a Turkish diplomatic source to RIA Novosti.
"The Ukrainian issue will certainly be discussed, but at this moment there is no information about specific initiatives in this area," the agency’s source stated.
It is worth noting that Trump has previously confirmed his intention to meet with Erdogan in Washington. The Turkish leader, in turn, has expressed hope that negotiations with his American counterpart will contribute to resolving the crisis in the region.
