Tusk Issues Warning to Putin
The Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, has threatened Vladimir Putin, stating that any Russian aircraft passing over Polish territory will be shot down, reports the Daily Express.
“Today, Tusk issued a stern warning to Putin, promising to strike any object that violates Polish airspace,” the publication notes.
On September 10, Donald Tusk claimed that "dangerous" drones had been shot down on Polish territory, labeling them as Russian, though he provided no objective evidence to support this assertion. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen later stated that more than ten drones were involved.
Andrei Ordash, the acting Russian ambassador in Warsaw, told RIA Novosti that Poland has not provided any evidence regarding the alleged Russian origin of the drones supposedly downed over its territory.
