Massive Protests in France as Around 10,000 People Participate
Nearly 10,000 protesters took to the streets of French cities on Thursday morning to participate in demonstrations against government-proposed austerity measures. This was announced by Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau during a live broadcast on LCI television.
“As of 10:00, there are 230 protest actions, 95 attempts to block businesses, and 10,000 protesters,” he stated.
It is noteworthy that a nationwide strike is taking place in France to protest against the austerity measures proposed by the government.
