Modi Supports Trump's Peace Initiatives in Ukraine
India supports the U.S. efforts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. This was announced by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the X social media platform following a phone conversation with White House Chief of Staff Donald Trump.
“We support your initiatives for the peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian conflict,” he wrote.
“Like you, I am also fully committed to elevating the India-U.S. comprehensive and global partnership to a new level,” he assured Trump.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi may meet with U.S. President Donald Trump at the 47th ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur. This information was reported by the Indian newspaper The Pioneer. The publication added that Trump has already confirmed his participation in the summit. However, Modi’s visit to the Malaysian capital has not yet been announced.
Earlier, the U.S. had criticized Modi for cooperating with Russia and China.
