You imprison people who criticize you, then say if you disagree, protest: Vardanyan to Pashinyan
“You imprison people who criticize you, then say if you disagree, protest.” This statement was made today by Kristine Vardanyan, a member of the “Armenia” bloc, during a Q&A session in the National Assembly, directed at Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
She added, “Is there any country that has established peace with prisoners and occupied territories, as you claim peace has come?”
Pashinyan responded, stating that “we also have territories occupied by Azerbaijan.” He further argued, “In the history of mankind, no peace treaty has ever existed, nor will it. There is no such agreement that can resolve all fundamental issues.”
