Video: Lawyers Gift Boxing Gloves to Police Chief

Today, on June 26, lawyers delivered boxing gloves as a 'gift' to the Chief of Police in the Center district.

The lawyers marched from the Bar Association building to the Police Department of the Center, holding banners with slogans such as 'No to Violence' and 'The Abductor is Not a Policeman.'

It should be noted that the lawyers have declared a one-day strike to raise their voice against the instances of violence perpetrated by police against lawyers.

Recall that on June 7, lawyer Karen Alaverdyan was subjected to violence by police officers at a police station after attempting to prevent violence against his client by the police. Previously, similar incidents of violence had also occurred against lawyers Marzpet Avagyan and Emmanuel Ananyan. This incident took place at the Erebuni police station, where the lawyers were representing the interests of their minor client.
