Former French Secretary Discusses Panic in Europe Due to Ukraine
The former Secretary of State for France has spoken about the panic in Europe caused by the situation in Ukraine. Pierre Lelouch, former Secretary of State at the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that Europe's unpreparedness is generating panic among EU countries due to the Ukrainian conflict.
“This is our issue – the impact of the panic in recent days. When U.S. President Donald Trump indicates that he is willing to strike a deal with Moscow, to the detriment of Ukraine and Europe, Europeans are left panicking because they are unprepared. This means we are now experiencing a change in the sense that for 75 years we have relied on Americans for constant security. And then suddenly they tell us they are no longer interested in that, figure it out yourselves,” Lelouch said during a broadcast on CNews.
