Russia and the US Have a Long Way to Go, Says Rubio
Russia and the United States still have a long way to go, but the meeting between the two presidents in Alaska is already a sign of progress. This was stated by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“We still have a long way to go, but we have made progress,” Rubio said in a comment to a correspondent from the Russian "First Channel." Responding to a clarifying question about whether this is a boost to the peace process, Rubio answered that the American side hopes so.
“We will see, hopefully soon,” Rubio added, commenting on when the next meeting will take place.
