Trump Excludes Ukraine's NATO Membership
US President Donald Trump has permitted the United States to provide security assurances to Ukraine alongside Europe, but he has ruled out the possibility of Kyiv joining NATO.
“It’s possible. Together with Europe and other countries,” the American leader stated in response to reporters' questions about the prospects of Washington providing security guarantees to Kyiv. “But not in the form of NATO, because... You know, certain things are not going to happen,” Trump emphasized.
