Garabedian II Denied Visit with Archbishop Mikhail

Supreme Patriarch of All Armenians Garegin II has been denied permission to visit Archbishop Mikhail in his preliminary detention location. The investigator rejected the request, as stated during the court session by the defense attorney of the Shirak diocese leader, Yerem Sargsyan.

“There was no reason for the rejection, and the meeting of the patriarch could not in any way hinder the investigation,” the attorney noted.

It is remembered that the first court session regarding the case of Archbishop Mikhail Ajaphayany is currently underway at the Avan branch of the first instance court of general jurisdiction in Yerevan.
