Roads Passing Through Azerbaijan Will Open for Armenia, Says David Khudatyan
Armenia is set to gain access to unblocked roads while maintaining our territorial integrity and sovereignty, which I believe is crucial for the development of our state. This was stated by Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan during a conversation with reporters after a government meeting.
‘So far, as much commentary and information has been provided as deemed appropriate, and at this moment, I have nothing to add to that. In the near future, work processes will commence, and from the point that there is a need to convey additional information, I can confidently say that the government will provide that information,’ Khudatyan said.
‘The initial signing of the peace agreement brings us a significant step closer to peace, which I believe is a long-awaited and joyful event for every citizen of the Republic of Armenia. I must say that such comments regarding the text of the peace agreement have been voiced previously, when ominous interpretations were made, but before the release of the text, it became clear that there was nothing dreadful, tragic, or ominous for the Republic of Armenia,’ the Minister of Territorial Administration noted. ‘Roads passing through Azerbaijan will open for the Republic of Armenia, as the unblocking is a bilateral process.’
