Mirzoyan Presented Agreements Reached in Washington to Lavrov
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“In continuation of the discussions between the two countries, Ararat Mirzoyan presented to his Russian counterpart the agreements reached on August 8 in Washington, particularly the preliminary signing of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, a joint application regarding the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Process and related structures, as well as emphasized the reaffirmed fundamental principles regarding the unblocking of regional communications,” the statement said.
Minister Mirzoyan expressed gratitude for the congratulations and support from the Russian Foreign Minister regarding this important milestone. The interlocutors also addressed issues of bilateral cooperation between Armenia and Russia,” the statement added.
