EU Ambassador May Be Expelled from Georgia
The Mayor of Tbilisi and Secretary General of the "Georgian Dream" party, Kakha Kaladze, has sharply criticized EU Ambassador Pavel Gerchik for his statement emphasizing the need to halt repressive measures and release those who have been detained in order to return to Georgia's path of European integration.
"If he really said that, I would expel him," Kaladze declared, accusing the diplomat of interfering in domestic affairs and causing harm.
