They Will Soon Be Expelled: Iranian Authorities
The Iranian authorities plan to expel the remaining staff of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) from the country in the near future. This was announced by a member of the Iranian parliament, Amir-Hossein Sabatin, as reported by the Iranian SNN television channel.
“Thanks to the investigation conducted by members of parliament, the IAEA employees remaining in Iran will soon be expelled from the country,” Sabatin stated.
SNN notes that this announcement follows numerous reports of illegal activities by some IAEA inspectors in Iran, and practical measures are likely to be taken soon for the expulsion of IAEA staff from the country.
