Trump Threatens Japan
If Japan fails to reach an agreement with the United States, Washington will impose a 25 percent tariff on its cars. This statement was made by Donald Trump, the head of the White House.
He expressed his frustration that Japan does not wish to purchase American cars, while the United States imports millions of cars from this Asian country. According to Trump, this situation is unfair. He mentioned that Japan could buy a large quantity of oil and many other products from the United States to reduce the trade deficit.
